A short, consistent routine is what keeps a transfer machine running accurately.
Every shift
- Confirm the drum holds your set temperature before running.
- Check the blanket for creases and even tension.
- Wipe the drum surface once it has cooled.
- Look for oil leaks around the rotary joint.
Every week
- Deep-clean the blanket and check both ends are pulling evenly.
- Check the oil level.
- Check drive belt tension and lubricate the bearings.
Every month
- Inspect the heating circuit and thermostat.
- Pressure-test the pneumatic system.
- Inspect the drum surface for wear.
Record the temperature and pressure settings you use for each fabric. It saves time on the next run and helps trace any change in colour.
