How to Operate a Sublimation Transfer Machine
Source:ZS Machinery Time:2016-08-16 Click:62 Times
Running a rotary sublimation transfer machine comes down to a fixed sequence:
- Switch on and set the drum temperature. Wait until it holds steady – this usually takes 30–45 minutes from cold.
- Set the pressure for the fabric you are printing.
- Thread the transfer paper and the fabric through together, print side against the fabric, and check the blanket tension.
- Start the machine at a low speed and check the first few metres.
- Once the colour is right, bring the speed up to production rate.
- At the end of the run, let the drum cool before you release the blanket and clean the surface.
Never stop the machine with fabric pressed against a hot drum – it will leave a mark. If you have to pause, lift the pressure first.
