Timeline
| 1997 | The business is established in Hong Kong, supplying printing equipment to the textile trade. |
| 2003 | First factory opens in Humen, Dongguan – the company begins manufacturing rather than only trading. |
| 2009 | The printing machinery operation is incorporated as Zhishang Printing Machinery Co., Ltd. |
| 2019 | The company is restructured as Dongguan ZS Machinery Co., Ltd. |
| Today | A factory of around 10,000 m² with 50–100 staff, annual turnover in the tens of millions of RMB, and machines exported to more than 83 countries. |
What has stayed the same
The product range has widened over the years – from transfer machines to heat presses, calenders, narrow fabric printers and CO2 laser cutting machines – but the approach has not changed. We machine the drums ourselves, build to the customer's specification where a standard model does not fit, and keep spare parts available for the machines we have sold.
Looking ahead
More of the market is moving to short runs, lower water use and faster turnaround. Those are the areas sublimation transfer is strongest in, and they are where we are concentrating our development.
