How Long Does a Transfer Blanket Last?
Source:ZS Machinery Time:2016-08-16 Click:3227 Times
With normal use and routine maintenance, the transfer blanket on our sublimation transfer machines lasts around 2–3 years.
Blanket life depends mainly on running temperature, the fabric being printed and how carefully the machine is maintained. Higher temperatures and heavy continuous production shorten it; correct tension and regular cleaning extend it.
We recommend checking the blanket every week for marks, creases and uneven tension. Replacing it on time keeps colour consistent and protects the drum. Replacement blankets and fitting instructions are available for every model we sell.
